In Princeton, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New Jersey on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Princeton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Princeton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

What a great place! Old school charm, simple menu, and the best pizza around! Got the family style salad, meatballs and a pepperoni pizza! Thin, thin, thin and crunchy crust! Sit at the bar for the best experience.

The pizza was amazing! It had so many toppings, a generous portion, and a very thin crust. Iβve never had such a hearty and satisfying pizza before. It was so delicious and tasted very authentic to me. I would definitely come back!

Visited 5/4/2026 around lunchtime. There was hardly anyone there, though I hear it gets packed at night. This is a classic tavern pizzeria where it looks like nothing inside has changed for decades. My kind of joint. Plenty of character! I almost made the mistake of walking in the front door, which is actually the back door. I would have looked like it was my first time there (which it was!) The pizza itself was well done & done well. I opted for the pepperoni which everyone told me I had to try. They were right. I'll go for meatball next time. #YouWannaPizzaMe?

Loved the pizza especially the crust. The place is not showy at all but does the food best ! The menu is simple nothing elaborate but authentic. We ordered a medium pizza with onion, mushroom and sausage. We also had a steak sandwich and spaghetti meatball.

This was my first time trying Conte's. We drove an hour and a half to try their pizza after reading all the reviews and watching one bite pizza review online. It is located in the back of a large home that was converted into a restaurant, along with another business. They have a large bar area with TV screens and seating which seems comfortable, but the table and dining area is very basic and sort of had a cafeteria feel to it. The entire restaurant has a very dated feel to it and the entire restaurant looks neglected. The hallway to the bathrooms had visible clutter lacking any concern as to how it may look to new customers . The tables also need to be wiped down better as it looked hastily done. Maybe that's why they have hand sanitizer on every table. Menu is very simply with limited items so we expected mind blowing pizza since their only focus would be making great pizza. We ordered a simple salad which was just ok and a large pie, half plain and half olives and mushrooms. The pizza was thin and the plain side was okay but we were surprised that the mushroom side had canned mushrooms instead of fresh mushrooms. The pizza would have been so much better if they went th
